SUMMER TRIPS
HSM has a simple of vision of REACHING AND GROWING.
We do this through WORSHIP on Wednesday nights, GROWING in Grace Groups, SERVING on Sundays, and OUTREACHING in our daily lives.
We
also put special emphasis on summer trips. They are a catalyst that we
have seen push multiple students to the next level in their walk with
Christ and in their leadership and ministry skills.
SUMMER TRIPS VISION
Concentrated time away from our normal lives focused on God, the lost, and ministry produces life change.
It
is our goal that every student goes on a Summer trip. We have designed
the trips to build on one another. For this reason we want students to
follow the progression as they grow. The trips start with level 1 at
Urban Hope and build from there.
We also offer the Momentum
Conference as a stand alone experience to grow and be invested in at a
top notch conference for all our students.

Applications for all trips except Momentum are due February 28th.

Momentum 2010 - July 12-18
CONFERENCE EXPERIENCE
ENCOURAGED FOR ALL STUDENTS
|
 Momentum is not a trip, but a one of a kind conference experience where students will be invested in all week.
The week is packed with challenging sessions with top notch national speakers and worship leaders.
Momentum also features a day where students are given opportunites to go out into the community and put their faith into action.
This week never fails to rally your heart for the year ahead.
You
will be challenged in all walks of your faith, spend time bonding with
our HSM group, and meeting 2,000 other students from all over the
country.
This year it is being held at Cedarville University in nearby Cedarville, OH.

REGISTRATION TO ATTEND WITH OUR GROUP IS ALSO HANDLED THROUGH THE SAME SITE.
NOTE TO ALL HSM STUDENTS AND PARENTS.
We want students going on our trips, but we also want just as many to go to Momentum.
Because
of the close proximity of the conference this year we are going to take
as many students (AND PARENTS FOR THAT MATTER) as we can for the
closing session.
SAVE SATURDAY JULY 18TH ON YOUR CALENDAR. Even if
you have work, soccer, or something else that week you MUST experience
as least
one session of Momentum. THIS ONE SESSION TRIP IS FREE. You will only have to cover the cost of one meal.

Urban Hope 2010 - June 27-July3 - LEVEL 1 TRIP
|
 The Urban Hope Training Center is a Progam run by CE National in Philadelphia, Pa.
It is a Grace Brethren inner city ministry that is planting a church by reaching the children and youth.
During
your time at Urban Hope students will be serving at a day camp, which
reaches out to neighborhood children and provides a structured
environment where the Gospel is shared.

San Francisco 2010 - June 21-27 - LEVEL 2 TRIP
|
 This
trip is a combination of inner city ministry, evengelism, and service
experiences designed by our friends at Youth with A Mission (YWAM).
This trip is designed to push you to the next level of ministry.
By
building on the foundations gained from Urban Hope and other
experiences, this trip will increase skills of servant leadership and
sharing your faith.
Plus come on, who doesn't want to go to California.

Dominican Republic 2010 - June 19-26 - LEVEL 3 TRIP
|
 Grace Church has taken this trip to the village of Cotui for the past
6 years.
This year HSM's team will function as a team on the greater Grace
Church team.
This is our level 3 trip and includes some great experiences that only an international trip can offer.
Experiences include the medical world, running a bible club, and also in work projects.
This trip is through Vision Trust International.
